This awe-inspiring course focuses on mindfulness and emotional intelligence. Based upon methodology first taught at Stanford University’s famed Creativity in Business Course (CIB), the 8-week program is designed to take kids and teens on a profound journey into unearthing their creativity, tapping into their purpose, and thereby activating their full potential. Using practical tools and techniques the Insight for Life Instructor will empower kids and teens to step into their authentic true selves.
This 8-week course is designed to provide students with a competitive edge by helping to foster and develop the powerful creative potential within them. Specific benefits and outcomes often include the following:
Calm their anxiety and relieve stress by living in the moment and gaining control of their emotions.
Create a new relationship with time to overcome procrastination and help get things done.

Val Price is a Certified Health, Life and Transformational Coach. She is passionate about wellness and personal development which has enabled her to facilitate wellness retreats around the world. Building community is central to each unique retreat experience, and is of the utmost importance to her. Val’s vision is to help others be inspired and live their best lives now!Her drive for helping others and giving back on a global scale has led her to do meaningful work on on retreats teaching kids mindfulness and meditation techniques. She also facilitates Wellness Workshops as well as Personal Coaching Sessions with clients. She teaches the Insight for Life, a course that is based on a Stanford University Masters Degree class in mindfulness and emotional intelligence. She teaches at different levels for kids, teens and adults.In between retreats, she spends time in her home country of the Philippines and her California US residence. She’s an avid lover of nature, the environment and animals. She has a passion for photography and loves to capture the moment.
Val holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a BS in Technical Management with an Emphasis in HR from DeVry University. She is a Certified Health, Life and Transformational Coach, Mastery Level Coach from Health Coach Institute and an Insight for Life Instructor.
